Hurray! Hurray!Hurray!Hurray!

Change has finally come to Johannesburg. The much awaited Change was received with a warm gestures of smiles and happiness as homeless people from the streets of Braamfontein now have a second chance.

I spread the news as the vector of change, though many are the afflicted but they were all happy to see that soonest their pains and sorrows will be forgotten.I spent my early morning time after feeding the pigeons to share copies of Making Change Streets News paper to coffee shops and hotel in order to fanfare the arrival of great things to come. They received the newsprints with appreciation and they promised to give to customers to read and spread the news as well.

I shared the news to business owners about how they can be partners of change and they are also ready to implement change where is needed. To be honest, the future is bright and all hands are on deck to bring smiles to the hobos.

Today,I see some hobos trying to make ends meet by washing cars in order to get paid, some watch and park cars and some still sit on the fence watching what the next few days will bring for them. And with Christmas around the corner,a Xmas gift will be much needed. Some get their clothes washed and some have  a new hair cut and some recently got a job.

I give thanks to God for these positive changes in the lives of homeless people. They need more prayers and more love from us and I know one day they will live to tell their stories of change.

"Hold my hand...and together we can effect CHANGE!"
